Spotlight Series: Meet Career Coach Ania Krol

1. Tell us a bit about yourself

I am a business and mindset coach for freelancers. I help my clients in converting

their true voice, marketable ideas, and passions into profitable and predictable businesses. I am also a digital nomad. I work and travel (slowly) in the same time. l love music festivals, white chocolate, and showing up to support my community!

2. What was your first job and how did you get it?

I got my first job after I graduated from my Masters Degree. I moved from Wales, UK to London and I had literally $200 in my pocket. I thought to myself, "Ania, you have 2 weeks to find a proper, job!" and then I said "Let's do it!!" And I did it. After 10 days, I got a job as a business assistant in one of the largest construction companies in the UK. I was clear about what I wanted, I was consistent in applying, I built my confidence, improved my resume, and I got what I wanted.

3. How did you decide and get to your career today?

After several years of successful freelancing, coaching groups about remote work and recruiting remote talents for small companies, I realized I love helping people and creating content. That is why I decided to do a coaching certificate and start mentoring my clients. It came naturally and I love my work!

4. What advice would you have given your younger self? Or what is the best career advice you have ever received?

Invest in yourself. Be curious and courageous. Make mistakes but keep going. Always believe in yourself and trust your intuition. Make sure to surround yourself with inspirational people.

5. In 5 years, where do you hope to be professionally and personally?

In 5 years, I will visit all continents, have a little house in the South of Spain, and I will be mentoring groups of people who want design the lifestyles of their dreams. I also want to organise monthly retreats, attend international conferences as a speaker, and be engaged with many charitable organisations.
