1. Tell us a bit about yourself
As an alignment coach, I aid young professionals to align with their authentic career so they can experience their full and fulfilling life. One of my favorite aspects of my job is jumping on the phone with a client for the first time. I am awe-struck by the capability and courageous transformation of individuals seeking more and the absolute, exciting possibility of their dreams. I would be honored to share this experience with you by signing up for a free session here.
2. What was your first job and how did you get it?
At 16, my first job was a dance instructor for my home community's dance program. I was elated to work alongside my best friend doing work we loved (my first taste of what’s possible when we choose fulfilling work!). After two years leading the program, teaching dancers age 3-13, and managing all dance-related operations within the community center - I was honored to hand over a more professional and re-energized program to the upcoming instructors.
3. How did you decide and get to your career today?
I attended the seminar “Quarter Life Calling” by Coby Kozlowski at Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health in 2014. Although this was the first of many trainings and degrees I would go on to receive, it was all the inspiration I needed to recognize the power and importance of coaching. After receiving my Master’s degree in Positive Developmental Psychology, I not only felt inspired and energized as a coach, but felt confident in my deep understanding of best practices to guide others in pursuit of a career [& life] they love.
4. What advice would you have given your younger self? Or what is the best career advice you have ever received?
“Advice is what you ask for when you already know the answer.” Trust yourself. For myself & my clients, I find the answer oftentimes already lies within us. Sometimes we need a support system, powerful questions, or a reflective voice to hear and see our answers clearly - AND, sometimes it just takes pausing and asking yourself: “What is best for me?” “What is my best guess?"
5. In 5 years, where do you hope to be professionally and personally
In five years, I will be the author of a New York best-selling book. I love translating my coaching expertise to digestible and inspiring words - as expressed weekly on my blog. I will coach individuals one-on-one to align with their most fulfilling and authentic life, as I do today. I will also expand my workshop and speaking opportunities to offer powerful ideas and questions to a broader audience. In five years, my dog, to be adopted this month, and I will be joined at the hip, actively walking the lakes or mountains nearby. Friends and family, including my incredible partner, will still remain one of my highest priorities and resources such as time, money, and energy will be aligned accordingly. Business and life will be grander than I could ever imagine today - and to this, I already feel incredibly grateful.
