Do you remember the craze of Y2K? That happened over 20 years ago! In 1999, we all rushed to the stores to overbuy items we didn't need, stopped going outside, shifted our investing plans and so many other radical things because we felt the world was coming to the end in the new millennium. Its crazy to think this was just 2 decades ago.
Today, we are facing an eerily similar environment. We are living in historical times. In the last 10 years, we have witnessed many great innovations, industry growths, new technology creativity, global epidemics and now a new pandemic. The Corona Virus has sparked fueled by the media and our disconnected global leaders have sparked fear across the world. Acting out of fear is never the answer.
Let's shift our mindset to positivity. What can we get out of this pandemic? Unconsciously the Corona Virus has given us a time to reset your lives. It as if God or the Creator has given us a pause button to spend the next few weeks look inward versus outwards.
"A time to just reset and be."
Think of the last time you were able to just pause or sit down for 10 minutes straight. The last time you were able to pick up a book to read. Or the last time when you were able to have a sitdown lunch at home. We are now in a time where you were able to just be. You are able to live presently. We spend each day grinding at a job we don't love, spending less time with family we love, and barely making means living paycheck to paycheck.
The Corona Virus has given us a gift. A gift to just pause and set your life. It's a time to reevaluate your goals, relook at your life, and ask yourself "am I living the life I want to now?" This quote sums it up best.
"And the people stayed home. And read books, and listened, and rested, and exercized, and made art and played games, and learned new ways of being, and were still. And listened more deeply. Some mediated, some prayed, some danced, Some met their shadows. And the people began to think differently. And the people healed. And, in the absence of people living in ignorant, dangerous, mindless, and heartless ways, the earth began to heal. And when the danger passed, and the people joined together again, they grieved their losses, and made new choices and dreamed new images, and created new ways to live and heal the earth fully, as they had been healed." -Kitty O'Meara
You have been given a gift. What are you going to do with it?
